This then means that the company operates through five business segments: network communications, video-on-demand, broadcast television, filmed and Music entertainment. 

Aurora Media Group offers its services over its distribution system to residential and business customers. The company’s range of video services offers access to hundreds of channels through affiliate partnerships with the distribution happening through “Aurora Tv” the moving picture section.


Its levels of service typically ranges from a limited basic service with access to between 20 and 40 channels of video programming to full digital service with access to over 80 channels. Aurora's video services include programming provided by national broadcast networks, international and regional content creators with on-going agreements to distribute university level film productions, as well as public access programming. The company also offers packages that include foreign and native language programming with an on-going development being support for African languages, and other specialty tiers of programming with sports, family and international themes.

The company’s on-demand service provides its digital video customers with more than 30,000 standard-definitionand high-definition programming choices. It also offers high-definition television (HDTV) services. The network’s business segment will serve audiences and advertisers through marketing and distribution on it’s cable network programming in Botswana and continentally for corporations, interested parties, multichannel video providers, as well as digital distributors, for a cost. This being an Ad-revenue business approach.


The segment includes Aurora’s production studio that identifies, develops and produces original content for television and other distribution purposes by interested parties to leverage high end studio-grade, production equipment to produce content both for its network, license this content to other networks, broadcast networks and digital distributors and related digital media platforms alike.
